Pensacola Blue Wahoos, 41 N. Jefferson St.,– The home of the Pensacola Blue Wahoos will be at the Maritime Park. The team will relocate from North Carolina (currently named the Carolina Mudcats), to Pensacola for the 2012 Southern League season and will be a AA affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds. Seeing the future stars of Major League baseball in a fun, family friendly atmosphere will bring a new level of enthusiasm for Northwest Florida.

Tourism Cares Announces Pensacola as Destination for 2012 Spring Project!

Tourism Cares for America, the travel industry’s premier charitable organization for tourism preservation, conservation, restoration and education, selected Pensacola for its annual spring project March 29-31. During the event, more than 300 volunteers from the tour and travel industry worldwide, will help in two projects in the Pensacola area: the Pensacola Lighthouse and Bayview Park shoreline restoration. Tourism Cares is actively promoting Pensacola and this exciting event to their members worldwide. Special thanks to the Crowne Plaza Pensacola Grand Hotel for their sponsorship. snowbirdsLeslie just returned from Smart Meetings and the Louisiana and Mississippi Society of Association Executives Joint Fall Conference where she met with corporate and association meeting planners. She will be attending Rejuvenate Marketplace in San Jose Nov. 7 – 10, where she will have appointments with religious meeting planners.
